Balloting

There are numerous ways to maintain our unanimity despite the change in the balloting procedure. Here are the two best methods that have always been and are still permissible.

  1. Submit your objection to the Investigating Committee
If you don't want to put your name with your objection or even list out specifically what your objection is, that is your right. You can mail your objection to any member of the published Investigating Committee and they will then report unfavorably on the petition thereby preserving unanimity.

  2. Submit your objection to the District Deputy
If you submit your objection to the District Deputy, you must give your name and the details of your objection. If the District Deputy agrees, then the petition will be rejected. This method is not guaranteed to preserve your right to object.
